The SSMS app now includes a unified, high-performance typing / scanning system in all Product and Stock selectors.
This new implementation allows users to quickly find products or storage details by typing text or scanning any barcode into the search box.
This behavior is available across all SSMS selectors that depend on product or stock information.

Input: Beer
Result: any product or stock item where the name contains “Beer”.
Search by UPC
Input: US/0002
Result: two products (Apple Juice, Lemon Soda) whose UPC is US/0002.
Search by Search Key
Input: FRUIT_PLUM0
Result: product Chinese Plum which Search Key is FRUIT_PLUM0.
Search by Characteristics
Input: YELLOW
Result: products / stocks whose characteristics match
COLOR: YELLOW
Search by Locator Value
Input: SHP301
Result: storage details stored in bin SHP301.
Search by Locator Barcode
Input: FOOD003
Result: all storage in the locator with barcode FOOD003.
Search by ASI
Input: Plastic
Result: storage details with an Attribute Set value that contains ‘Plastic
