Transactions in SSMS

SSMS transaction functions enable staff to process complex inventory operations that involve multiple steps and require detailed documentation. These transactions go beyond basic stock movements to handle comprehensive business processes such as distribution orders, requisitions, inventory counts, returns, and receiving operations.

Each transaction type follows structured workflows that ensure accuracy and compliance with business requirements. The system guides users through each step, capturing necessary data and maintaining complete audit trails for all transaction activities.

Available transactions

Distribution and fulfillment

Procurement and requests

  • Requisitions. Create and manage inventory requisition requests

Inventory control

  • Inventory count. Conduct comprehensive inventory counting operations

  • Returns. Process returned merchandise and manage return workflows

Receiving operations

  • Blind receive. Handle incoming inventory without prior knowledge of expected items

These transaction capabilities provide the structure and documentation needed for complex inventory operations while maintaining the mobile convenience that SSMS delivers for all retail staff activities.

Scroll behavior

Transaction screens use an auto-hide scroll layout to maximize usable screen space: a collapsible header showing document summary information sits above the scrollable content list. As the user scrolls down the header slides out of view, and when scrolling stops or the finger is lifted, it snaps fully open or closed depending on how much of it remains visible.
