Stock operations in SSMS

SSMS enables warehouse operators to efficiently manage inventory operations directly from mobile devices. This system streamlines warehouse and store-level stock management tasks, allowing for handling receiving, picking, issuing, moving, counting, and packaging operations with real-time accuracy.

The stock operations functionality adapts to each user's role and permissions, ensuring team members only access the tools relevant to their responsibilities. Whether you're receiving new inventory, fulfilling customer orders, transferring stock between locations, or conducting inventory counts, SSMS provides intuitive workflows that maintain accurate inventory records throughout your operations.

Task management

• My assigned tasks. View and manage tasks assigned to your user account

Inventory receiving and distribution

• Receive. Process incoming inventory and update stock levels

• Pick. Select items for order fulfillment or transfers

• Issue. Record outbound inventory movements

Stock movement and organization

• Move. Transfer inventory between locations within the store

• Count. Perform inventory counts and cycle counting operations

Packaging operations

• Packing. Package items for shipment or storage

• Unpacking. Unpack received items and process contents

• Bundle. Create product bundles and kits

• Unbundle. Separate bundled items into individual components

Available stock operations

The actions available in the ‘Stock Operations’ section depend on the user's assigned role. If a user does not have permission for a specific action, it will not appear in the interface.
